PRESS
8/23/08- CTF is "Band of the Week" on Support Local Music/Colorado Local Music site. Quoting "Lambkitty", "At random, I chose this band knowing nothing about them. Upon initial listening, I thought about U2 a lot, but as I continued to listen, I discovered a deeper progression of music. It's rock, it's electronica, it's different! It's like a modernized Pink Floyd meets the Foo Fighters and then beats up classic-bluesey-rock. One could drink, dance, read, party, play beer-pong, watch clouds, drink coffee, or workout to this sound. I like 'em, I've decided. My taste is usually pretty extreme into the metal, rap and punk rock genres, but I can certainly appreciate a group who can successfully mix harmonies and rock-n-roll, and pull of a little electronic interest in the process. Pop/rock has a five-year-old, three-man band to contend with." 6/14/07- "The Onion" AV Club names CTF "Dogs and Tumbleweeds" a Denver "underdog" release of note for 2007. 4/21/07- "Denver" was a featured song on the NPR program "All Songs Considered".
